alright everytime i take off hard in 1st gear with the rpms gaining i get a knocking noise that increases with the speed...when im in low rpms it goes away but comes back in all the other gears in high rpms i kno its not the motor because i revved it in neutral and there was no noise and everytime i shift i hear a clunk...apreciate the help thanks

 

Well first off is the obvious question, u throwing any CEL's?

Does it always come back in high RPM's, even if ur not on it hard? What happens when your in high RPM's and it's knocking and you let off, does it still knock? Is it jerking (do you feel it) also or just hear it? When was the last time you changed the plug wires? When you drive normal there's no knocking what-so-ever - or does it still knock in the high RPM's driving normal?

It sounds like it can be your throwout bearing....I'm afraid to ask but do you think you can make a digital sound recording of the noise? The throwout bearing noise is pretty distinct..

Blah, there's where I'd put my money ... How many miles are on that clutch and was it just changed recently?

 

it comes back when im driving normal in high rpms too the clutch is still fresh i had it put in like 5 months ago it dosnt jerk, knock goes away when i let off wut are the plug wires?

 

What are the plug wires? They're big wires that go from your distributor to your spark plugs..

Only happens at high RPM's or when you get on it when did this problem start?

If you don't know what plug wires are you probably didn't chnage them - change them..

Do you feel it too (is it any jerks in power) or is it just a noise?

 

it happens when i get on it...it started last night and the spark plug wires are a month old and its just a noise
