Default ITR springs/shocks combo installation tips

I just bought a used set (just 6k miles) and I am still searching for rear LCAs.

I am just planning ahead and looking for installation tips.
The set is still all intact.

1. How difficult is this installation?
2. I have searched here and Google but can't find any detailed installation instructions.

Any help will be

TIA

The level of diffuculty depends on if you have a spring compressor, a second person to give you a hand and how tight the last mechanic torqued the bolts(personal experience).

If you have done the procedure before, it should be pretty easy. When I installed springs the other day, I had no spring compressor. Basically I just disconnected the lca bolt, stepped on the brake and moved the strut/shock to the side leaving the top of it still bolted to the top of the tower. I then slowly took the top bolt off the center of the strut and let it shoot out into a towel( making sure the brake lines are clear of the projectile. Assemble the shock and spring making sure they are its seated correctly and re-install.

Sorry if that was kind of confusing. This procedure was simplifed. Message me and ill help u out if no one else can make a better suggestions.

you shouldn't need a spring compressor if the ITR shocks/springs are already assembled. installing springs/shocks is pretty straightforward.. 6 bolts/nuts for each front and 5 for each rear. as for the LCAs sorry can't help ya there

what about removing the stock (GSR) shock/springs set up? Will I need special tools other than socket wrenches?
Thanks for the reply. I am just trying to assess what I will be up against?
Like beer and pizza and help me?

your gonna need a 14mm, a 17mm and whatever size the wheel lugs are. Plus a nice breaker bar... cuz the bolts on the LCAs are a ******* bitch. Good luck, it's really easy.
