Default Changed my fuel filter..got a question...

What is the tq spec on the banjo bolt (spelled right?) on top of the fuel filter. My car seams to buck a little lately after I changed it and I think maybe I have that bolt on to tight. Any other suggestions My car is stock except an AEM Intake.

any help would be appreciated....

Rob:

the torque spec on the bolt on top is 11 ft lb called the service bolt. the banjo bolt that goes right underneath that is torque valued at 25 ft lb. hope this helps

I don't think having the bolt too tight will cause it to buck. did you retighten the gas cap after you were done, assuming you loosened it before you started the fuel filter change.

did it buck at all before the filter change?

I did retighten the gas cap after I changed it. I checked to see if gas was leaking anywhere but I didn't see anything. The funny thing is it only happens at certain times. It usually occurs when on the highway cruising at about 65 in 5th, or on backroads at about 35-40 in 5th. When im light on the throttle.
