k...I just got my R stolen and I'm trying to figure how much I can get for my R. This post will be helpful to all of you with R since the market value of our car is relative so if you ever need to sell your R or got your R stolen...the resutl of this post will really help.

For those who sold their R can you please reply with the amount you sold your R for and the amount you got it for? Please also include the number of your R.

For those who got their R stolen, can you please reply with the amount of money you got from your insurance company? Please also include the amount you got your R for and the number of your R.

This would really help since WE are the owner of the R...let's not make our R lose too much market value.

2000 typeR #0727 got it for MSRP. around $28 out the door....RIP

 

Type R 01-0052 Bought it from an old guy who wanted an S2K instead with 2000mi for 23K out the door.

 

i brought it from dealer, and 24,000 out the door with 80 miles on it.

 

most people paid 25k + TTL on their type R's. which comes out to about 27.5k.

 

sad to hear our ITRs are being stolen,chopped and abused almost everyday

The out the door price is not relevant when it comes to insurance. They will only reimburse to a pre-tax value.

 

If it'll matter: I got my 98 R for 19K plus tax and registration...

 

Mine has an insured Value of $24,995 for a total loss. Nw keep in mind that I have on one of the BEST insurance companies out there in Chubb, but if my car is stolen or totaled... I get $24,995 no questiosn asked, no deals made....


So i would say $24995 since thats what mine is insured for

In sept 2001 I paid $20k pre tax for a 2000 ITR with 23K miles.

 

I bought a 98 ITR #0368 with 37,000 for 19,000 back in March of 2001. I just sold it for 18,800 with 52,000 two weeks ago. The car was stock.
I live on the west coast. It seems that R's are selling for a little more out here.
