Default I think i really messed something up....

Hey guys I really hope somebody can help me figure out what happened, well this is what happened, I got in my integra to start it up, and i dont use my clutch to start it because i have it bypassed so i dont have too, so i turn the key and i had left it in first cuz i was on a hill, then it made a bad sound and stalled. so i take it out of gear and start it with the clutch in and it starts but my exauhst is loud as hell( sounds like a gokart or something). so i pop open my hood and my engine is rocking while its idleing. anyone have any ideas as to what just happened. im afraid to try and drive it.

If your engine is moving while idle, probably a mount issue.

that has happened to me like 5 times ha ha. You probably tore a mount and gained an exhaust leak

well if it is the mounts im in luck because i got a set of innovative mounts a couple of weeks ago, and a buddy of mine is doing the install for free. i hope thats all i messed up. what would have exactly caused the exhaust leak(if there is one) and if i take it to a muffler shop is it an easy fix?

its a pretty shitty mount. I took off the intake manifold bracket and did it in a few minutes.

When the motor mount broke, that caused the motor to move excessively and pretty much "pulled" the exhaust apart...or broke a weld or two.

alright its fixed, wasnt a broken mount and theres no exhaust leak. somehow either when i left it in gear and tried to start it or when i was plugging in my ecu, one of the wires came undone. Causing my exhaust to sound like **** and my idle to drop really low, then causing the motor to rock because of such a low idle. Put the wire back in and everything was idling perfect and exhaust sounds great, then no vtec, pull the ecu again to find another wire pulled out. My brother pulled some McGyver **** with the stuff i had in my car, and got all the wires back in, and now its runnin like a champ. Im just so relieved now, thanks for the help guys.
