Default yet another "car won't start" thread...

last week i had a problem w/ the clutch switch not working. i would depress the clutch to start the car but no reponse. so i got the clutch bypassed and fixed the problem. so a week later im here again w/ ignition problems...again. wtf. now when i turn the key, all it does is click. i hear the starter trying to turn but it doesnt crank. when the car is off, my lights work including my gauges and reading lamps. BUT, my auto-seatbelts dont work. every time i open the passenger door, i hear the seatbelt motor straining like it's not gettin enough charge to fully move down. i dont know anymore...what's the problem now???

dead battery? perhaps your alternator is shot and drained the battery.

yea it was the battery. also the battery terminals needed replacing. after replacing the battery, i was thinkin "oh ****...it still wont start." then i noticed my terminals were worn out and the nut was stripped so i replaced that...fired right up.
