Default Sway Bars for ITR's

trying to decide what swaybar to use on my R im going to have a street car and I am in debate on 4 right now

OEM 22mm rear bar I have that on my rs right now and I love it

OEM 23mm jdm rear (also will the usdm C shaped brackets work w/ that the 22mm) Does it make that big of difference?

Mugen 26mm one that kingmotors' sell

32mm one that kingmotors' sell

the front is 24mm have not seen anything better to use then that

your input will be greatly appreciated thanx

you'll be fine with just the 24mm front and the 22 or 23mm rear. you can get the rear 26mm mugen one but expect to pay a hefty some (which im sure you already know)

and not sure where you getting 32mm sway that king sells for the integra. the largest that they sell as far as sways go is 30mm and thats for the front and for the ek models.

just keep stock you wont feel any real difference from the 23mm rear compared to the 22mm one you already have. i personally have a 24mm front and 26mm rear. if you can handle oversteer i would go 26mm.

23 is great and you can use the factory c-shaped brackets.

I don't think the Mugen 26mm is in production anymore, I'd love to find one though

yea the oem d brackets work. its the rubber bushing inner diameter that is enlarged to 23mm. so you can reuse your 22mm brackets just fine. and yea the rear 26mm bar is no longer made. fronts are still available. the 26mm rear sway pop up here once in a while. and sell 300+ used. i have two but not for sale. but definitely need a subframe support and stiffer springs if going the 26mm route >>> hence maddd oversteer especially in the rain so watch out.

the 26mm is overkill on the street in all respects, but im a ***** so i got to stick with the overall plan.

i think he is talking about he 32mm a-spec kit. but its more like a 26mm because the 32mm bar is a hollow.

yeah thats what i figured, that it was hollow so really it sounds like 23mm is the best to go with

23mm would be your best bet. I'd reccomend 26mms but I just sold my set to a new happy owner.

I have the a-spec 32mm hollow and it works great but is very noisy because of metal bushings. If you can deal with the noise I say get the 32mm but if not stick with the 23mm jdm.

What kind of spring rates are you using in the rear of the car?

Spring rates can also make a large difference, so don't just go with a bar and then slap some high spring rates on or you might find that your to loose.

For the streets on stock spring rates: LS front with 23 mm rear is a nice ride

Mugen rear is a nice bar 26mm/ but with 1200lbs spring rates you might find it is a bit much for intermediate/novice track student.

good luck with the search

reid has a good point. tune with springs, not with bars.

The Mugen rear 26mm is discontinued Chase. My race car still uses the 22mm rear bar and its perfectly fine. I have lots of oversteer. Remember, understeer and oversteer can be tuned with your camber adjustments.
