What color should this be?
Here are pictures of my civic. I am trying to decide if I should paint the bumpers and actual shade of black (semi-gloss, etc), if I should try to get them matched to the car color (such as an si with black moldings but paint below that), or if I should two tone the entire bottom half of the car (from moldings down). The two tone would be all gold on top, black from the moldings down.
TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK PLEASE! I have searched for two tones without any help.

I really need input, you guys have probably seen more civics than me. I searched forever but yeah... I was also thinking of just painting the bumpers and side moldings black and then the roof black or something. I dunno.
THanks.

nice hatch man! very clean
as for the color, paint the bumpers the same color as the car and keep the moldings black. i think it would look great.

I am assuming I would have to use a sandable filler primer and it might cost a tad bit to get the color matched at a shop or something. Any estimates?
NOO WAY, re-paint the bumpers black it will look stellar. then rims+lowering
try to find a nice person that can use photoshop, maybe they can give u a rough idea what a new black, or a full gold would look like.

^--what he said. Just get your bumper straight (they look warped), and hit them up with some duplicolor OEM trim paint.
Would look so raw that way
.
Then swap in a V12
...j/p, but everything else would looks great

There is this really dark gold CRX with a carbon fiber hood that I have seen on Honda-Tech a couple times. It has white rims. I was thinking about doing that with those EG wire wheels (forgot which model). I think white or black are the only thing that would look good but if I keep black wheels it might be too much with the black bumpers.
Anyone have photoshop skills?
And as for the bumper straightening, no idea how to do that.
Thanks though.

just make sure all your bolts on your bumper are connected, find out which way its sloping see if u can somehow get it to all straighten out.
I think u mean DC Integra "mesh" wheels, they are sexy. white wheels IMO are out now.

man I wish I could start all over with a clean *** civic like that. I envy you.
Like all said above, take the front and rear bumpers off, and spray paint them black. Make sure that back bumper isn't messed up - it looks like it may have been tapped from the picture.
Then spray paint the edge moldings black, too. Those are the first things I would do, anyway.
I'd stick with the wheels (i love black steelies) until they need new tires. after that, buy yourself new wheels if you want, and keep those for the winter.
If you're wanting to put a little money into it, I'd get the emblems removed off the back. THis thing is already clean as hell, might as well finish the job!
I smell sleeper potential.

There is no rust on the entire car from what I have seen. The car has only been owned by like 2 other families as just normal commuter cars. They took really good care of it. It run extremely well from my other experience with high mileage cars, but maybe that is just the honda part of it. Hehe. It has tons of new parts, half shafts and stuff. I have checked the manual and the previous owners did a lot of the scheduled routine stuff at the dealers. It was cool to find that out. And I know that since 1998 it has only had 40K miles put on it so I guess it wasn't driven that hard.
I am really thinking about just painting the bumpers and side molding black. Should I do just straight black or semi-gloss. And if the bumpers are a little out of shape what should I do to fix them? I know that the side of the front bumper flare out a little bit and the left side of the top of the back bumper dents down a little bit.
Thanks a ton for all the feedback. I will probably post this in an actual poll sometime soon to make it easier.
Thanks again.
And as for the exhaust, my car was running SUPER rich (have since replaced the O2) sensor and I dunno if this is the reason but all of the baffles in the muffler fell apart and turned to dust (probably due to age) and the muffler started developing holes in it. I haven't had the 80 bucks to buy a new one from the autoparts store yet. Soon to change!
