I have recently swapped an h22 into my hatch and have since broken one of the shifter cables, the one that controls the up-down movement of the shifter, i was up at the local track the other day and went to shift into third and completly missed it, no the tranny doesn't have a real solid throw into 1st 3rd or 5th its almost like the selector floats into the gears, however the throws from 1st for 2nd and from 3rd to 4th are just fine, any suggestions to remedy this problem?
