new itr owner
Hey guys... I've been reading these forums ever since I got my type R, but now that I got a digital camera I thought I'd say hello and post some pics of the car. The car is a 2001 Canadian Type R with 65000 kms.
This is my first time posting pics so I hope this works.

Thanks for the welcome guys.
As for keeping her stock... thats the plan right now. I was thinking of adding a turbo or supercharger later, but the car is a whole lot of fun as it is so I think I'll keep her this way.
The tires definetly needed some cleaning on that day, I was just too eager to try out the new camera. The wheels actually need more of a cleaning... I'm not sure what kinda stuff I should use to clean it. My dad has some stuff to remove break dust off the wheels but I'm just afraid to use it on mine because I dont want to strip off the white paint... anyone have any suggestion for some good safe wheel cleaner?

Nice & shiny
For cleaning the wheels, I'd go with less intense stuff first; a good carwash soap & water, and then claybar. Those things are awesome. After that maybe a product like Meguiars paint cleaner (non-abrasive polish), and then a wax like you'd use on the car body.
P.S. don't got FI on a sweet NA motor.

Welcome to the forum.
Keep her safe, and enjoy her. I urge you to join either the SCCA or NASA and get involved in motorsport events such as auto-x or HPDE's. You will be amazed just how well your car will handle on the track.
