Any chance your running really rich and the exhaust loaded up with gas? Its possible if your real rich to collect in the exhaust and it can ignite. Just an idea
well it wierd the motor acts like it fouling out but i have repalyed everything from the rotor to the plug all from honda. plus the exhaust it just tacked in 2 places by the cat i haven't finished welding it yet. the motor acts like it not get fuel at 25%-50% throttle it boggs but if u put your foot to the floor its fine.

i know that you need to fix your car because bogging isnt normal.
and stop racing on the streets, take it to the track.

I know bogging isn't normal, i tring to fix it, it hard there are no codes. any ways a race or 2 now and then it ok, it not like i sit and way for some one to drive by thats thinks there fast. so chill it was just a little race. it was late no one else was out. u act like u have never race a day in your. so he who is without sin cast the first stone.
When you were doing the welding you left some little bits of metal in there and when you got on it you blew out the hot pieces of metal.
Just a guess...

no i welded on the exhaust about a week ago and the muffler was on fire! it wasn't pieces of metal. there waz a flame inthe muffler. it burned for about 3 mins after the car was off.
The only thing that would stay in the muffler would be oil. You might have ignited it. I have seen that on a porshe that was just rebuilt.
Ive seen it once before but it was on a cheap exhaust ..... the car was running rich and the built up fuel soaked into the cheapo fiberglass packin in the exhaust and ignited but as for the sparks no idea prob just deposits-
