Auto trans rebuild kit
Hello everyone.
Does anyone know where i could get a rebuild kit for my
auto trans?
It's for a 1994 accord lx, sohc.
I got 292,000 miles out of it!!!

I never heard about that.
Why would it be bad to rebuild.
I'm having my uncle rebuild it for me
and he said it shouldn't be a big problem.

well I've just heard a lot of complaints over the years from people who have have their accord auto trannys rebuilt because they often had premature failures with the tranny's shortly following the rebuild.

As long as the person who's doing the rebuilding knows what they're doing, there should not be any issues. The only time I would think otherwise is when it involves the problematic V6 trannies.

hmmm rebuild ur tranny... you know i was planning to do that to my car too...are you planning to put mods in ur car afterwards or do you already have mods?

I found a kit from a honda guy locally. $100
I dont have any many engine mods mostly suspension work.
After the rebuild ill let u all kno how it works out!!!
Lots cheaper than buying a used tranny.
