Default polishing H22 IM myself. any instructions?

i have already searched but didnt find exact information. i want to remove production roughness from my im, also its all dirty inside. i read here somewhere that not all parts of IM should be polished, or it will cause my car to run rich. want some advice. ill do the writeup when i complete it. any instructions?

im pretty sure you need to just polish the runners and around the inlet a little, you need some roughness to swirl the air in the manifold to mix w/ the gas better.

Just don't polish anything after the injectors because the rough spots cause turbulence and help the air & fuel mix together better.

just polish down casting dags and seams, nothing you can do with your dremmel tool will help things, leave it to the guys with flow benches and experience

i said dremmel because you always hear about the garage tuners who sit at home with a dremmel and dig out huge ports on their engine in search of power only to find they've killed flow and their bottom end. bigger ports means slower charge velocity which means **** atomisation. thats why your prelude comes with 2 sets of intake runners, to get you the best of both worlds. once you've done it its too late, your pretty much fukd
