usdm gsr and jdm gsr have the same "cc's", same redline I believe...

the higher compression on the jdm motor is what yields the higher horsepower, other than that, the two motors are pretty much the same

i got it as a replacement. i thought i had payed for a usdm but i got a jdm. the shop ordered it by the way. i guess it was a nice surprise because i didnt know it was a jdm motor until i actually went to go see it at the shop before they swapped it in.

the JDM and USDM are almost exactly identical. the only difference is the pistons. the JDM one has .6 more compression. i've owned both motors and do not feel a difference in the two. except maybe on the highway the JDM motor might feel a tad bit more power.
