Default NEWBIE NEED HELP ASAP!

hi guys. i got some question to ask. my steering wheel isnt straight so i went to get a alignment and they told me i cant fix it because my car is lowered. Also they told me that i need a new inner tie rod so i can fix it. how much would it cost to fix it?

tie rod is like 8 bucks or something...and i'll assume that you mean that when driving your steering wheel has to be slightly cocked for the car to go straight. How much are you lowered? you might need a camber kit

i think its lowered 2 inch. what do u mean camber kit? cause the front side of my wheel u can adjust it and the other side you cant because its screwed to the max. lol

inner tie rod is like $80 not $8, sorry buddy. thats just the part too, unless you wanna get a crap autozone brand one. if its lowered get camber kits blah blah, blah, search.

they should have no problem fixing the crooked steering wheel even if the car had no springs in there at all, all I ever here is that they wont warranty the alignment because the geometry has been altered.

or the fact that the car is too low to get on the rack. hell if i dont feel like doing an alignment on some kids car cuz i get the vibe they are too picky i will use any excuse i can think of..... take it to another shop, you will have to have the tie rod replaced before doing the alignment though.

my car is lowered and I had it aligned at the dealer for $70 CDN. Go there IMO
