If the stud is stripped, you can replace just that one stud, without replacing the hub or anything. I think there was a how-to on honda-tech, of how to install extended studs.

Not new lugs, new studs. That's not the same thing.

The stud is the thread that the lug goes on. It is attached to the hub. You can take your stripped stud out of the hub and put a new one in. I'm kind of confused on your problem though, the way that you're describing it.

What he's trying to explain is where the stud connects to the hub is stripped. What you have to do is cut that lug nut off.

this happened to a friend of mine on his teg. he messed up on taking the wheel off and his "stud thing" (dunno whut its called either) was cross threaded. basically after that you can try this

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by cm zak &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">hammer on a impact bit and use a impact wrench (air wrench)</TD></TR></TABLE>

my friend continued to unscrew and the lug came off along with a piece of the "stud" inside the bolt. ruined 3 of his studs. took it to a wheel shop and they replaced em for like $4.50 each lug i think.

good luck
