Default Spicing up the interior for cheap!

I jsut bought a 94 del sol s and swapped a d16z6 engine and tranny, screw the mini-me. I got the performance part with some mods like y8 manifold/throttle body, chipped p28, 4-1 headers, stage 3 clutch light flywheel and so on. Im trying to spice up the interior now alittle bit. I've done my hw and found the painting the led lights in the dash pretty cool. some questions though

has anyone bought the del sol alluminum dash kit off ebay? any good?

i want to take out my carpeting since its looks like crap and maybe go with diamond plated floor? anyone done this? any other floor alternatives?

any other ideas to make my boring out dated interior look alittle more clean and flashy?

oh yea and i got a type r shift ****, the chrome with the numbers in red...woohoo

"Clean and Flashy" do not mix in my opinion.

I'd suggest some NOS rubber floor mats that match your car's color. Maybe paint **** on the dash, or even the dash though. Sounds like you like those kind of things.

well you can just change out the gauges, put a bunch of cheap neon under the both sides of the dash, you can get the doors and seats re-vinyled pretty cheap. should be about 100 bucks for both doors and 150 or so for the seats, and get whatever color floats your boat, then paint the vents to match after you get the dash wrapped too. worry about the rear panels last beause they are kind of under cover in the sol anyways. You can pretty much do all this yourself for under 400 bucks and it could look clean if you take your time. Thats what i did when i had my sol.

I suggest keeping it stock, maybe a Type R shift boot, and shift ****. Other than that, just give it a good cleaning & detail.

plz dont make your interior look like a bed-mount tool box! just detail the interior, get some oem floormats, get some gsr seats, a b16 model delsol gauge cluster, a jdm-style shift **** and a nice deck for that new E40 cd.
