I have a B16 transmission, i found that out by getting an OBX LSD, and originally buying a GSR and found it didn't fit, so i bought the B16 and it fit. I saw a date stamped on there, what appeared to be a date, but it said 7 17 00 so i figured the transmission was out of a 2000 civic si. The transmission is actually cable powered and i have a 93 del sol so i had to get the conversion kit from hasport. I need to know what transmission it is so i can order the right axle seals this time. I think on the casing it said YS1 also. From what i've read it's out of a 1993 Acura Integra GSR?

There are 2 different YS1 transmissions. One is from a 90-93 B18A (LS/RS/GS), the other is the 92-93 USDM GSR (or JDM XSi). They have different gear ratios. Both are cable. I don't know how to determin the difference though

 

^ exactly, they are very hard to tell apart, without splitting the case and counting teeth
