Default Best header for the JRSC ITR's

I am looking to do an exhaust on my car now, and the only thing that is done on the car right now is a base kit JRSC.

Is the kamikaze the best for the combo?

those of you who are running the JRSC, what are you running?

thanks

Nick

Kamikaze 4-1 w/ 2.5" outlet.

That is all.

I have heard that also.

Out of curiosity, why? What makes that header a better supercharger header than any other header?

For the $, kamikaze is the best for supercharged applications.....

Why? Well, superchargers will increase whp output with short fat primaries into a 4-1 style collector.

You could have someone do a custom header that would outperform the kamikaze, but for ~$900 as opposed to ~$200, you can see why most will spend that $ elsewhere.....

We've got a kamikaze 3" collector header on our vortech blown itr and it's less than average build quality, but makes power.....

You got a plot handy for the Vortech car? I don't know that I've ever seen one for an ITR, just Cibbics.

I'm selling my big tube Lovefab header....I think it would be perfect for JRSC seeing as how it is too big for my bolt on ITR.....tuner said it needs to flow more air to make real power and that's what the JRSC does.

Yes, they do. They call it their "modified" header, but I believe it is just manufactured to endyn's specifications from the kamikaze, rather than actually modified by endyn. It is $309, and comes either ceramic coated black or metallic.

No plot online currently. I'll try to get it up soon.

Let me tell you it's really neat though. Nothing extreme - just 220whp and 160ft-lb at 8k rpm. This is only at 4psi, and both the tq and hp keep going up the more you rev the motor out.

That is all.</TD></TR></TABLE>I know this by experience! It's amazing what happened just by switching from a DC JDM 4-1 to the Kami. It makes a difference all throught the band from idle to redline.
