Default Brand New turbo on Dohc Zc..white smoke?

I just searched and no one can give a clear answer..I just recently finished a turbo setup ( t3/t4 ) and i drove home about 5 miles with no problems except blow off valve fluttering..then as i got off highway i started to over heat aprox 75% the way up to high.I relized the guy did not hook up my Blow off vlave..so i put a hose on it and drove home with no problems..i was also leaking a wee bit of oil from the oil return line..So i tightened the clamps and added hoses to all connections..i took it for a ride and it spooled up nicely all the way to 8lbs at only 5krpm..then it sytarted to smoke real bad..appears white but culd have blu-ish tint. The higher i rev the more smoke comes out..i checked radiator and dosn't seem to have discoloration..perfectly green..and i was no longer leaking oil from return line...And on top of that the blow off vlave still fluttered..any ideas wouldbe great..its a brand new turbo from garret and id appreciate helpful responses thanx~!

so it started smoking only after you made a pull on it? have you done a compression test on it?

possibly blown headgasket? If it was overheating my bet is on that.

yea..right after turbo was installed..blow off valve was fluttering and i was afraid that mabye i blew a seal on the turbo..but its brand new so i know seals dont blow that easy..as of now im almst sure its a blown headgasket..i checked my oil and it seems watery so..we'll see..

Take your oil feed line off, place it in a way that when the motor runs it will shoot the oil into the valve cover (remove the cap) place a towel over it to keep it from spraying everywhere. Start the engine for a brief period of time. If there is no smoke then you are leeking oil into your downpipe and wastegate housing and it is smoking from there. I just discovered this tonight on my turbo sol! The seal is broken and therefore leaking oil into the exhaust. I bellow LOTS and LOTS of smoke! Hope this helps.
