JDM 180 KM/H SPEED LIMITER!!!
I curently own a 1991 DA RS,
<--------
powered by a JDM OBD0 B16 and am using OBD0 JDM B16 ecu witch has of curse the 180km/h speed limit (fuel cut off)
I guess this question is directed to the computer geeks out there, how do i bypass this limiter i.e. disable it without having to chip or replace my ecu. In other words is there a pathway I could jump or remove??

I'd like to stay away from chipping or reflashing if possible

the goal here is to make my JDM OBD0 ecu to work.
there is got to be a way of foulling the ecu into thinking that its not going 180kms

the only way to get rid of the spedd limitor is to get the ecu chiped or run some kind of stamd alone fuel management. but most of then are for obd 1. you can run an old stage hondata system or turbo edit.
i would just convert to obd 1 if you even plan to do any futire mods and need dyno tuning.

for the b16 to run perfect, yes. well just grab a p30 then. all jdm ecu's have speed governers and their is no way to "fool" the ecu.

Fit an RSM, or look on ebay for a cheap OBD0 spoon vtec controller with harness, or an R-Spec controller as both of them remove the speed limiter and are plug and play. The R-spec controller is the better of the 2 as you can just leave it doing nothing other than removing the limiter but the spoon controller you have to set the vtec activation point on it before vtec will work.
