Default 93 GSR ac causing headlights to dim

when i am driving with my ac on, it feels like every few minutes my ac causes the car to surge. when it does it the headlights and interior lights all dim. you can actually feel it in the car when this happens. any suggestions?

could just be the A/C turning on and off. check the pressure guage glass.

could be the fans that are on while the ac compressor is on however if ur driving the alt should make neough power to keep the lights full just at idle would it dim.

CHECK YOUR ALTERNATOR DIODS GOING BAD. TAKE IT TO A PARTS STORE TO CHECK IT OUT FOR FREE WITH THE ALT IN THE CAR.
