ok i just put in a usdm b16 into my 99 civic and i have a couple of problems first off it won't rev past 4k, after running for a couple of minutes it will shut off but i can restart i think thats because my alternator might be bad and im also throwing cel for vtec valve and air intake temp also when i hit the gas it will choke then rev up a little but not past 4k so if anyone has any ideas of why it is running like **** please let me know

well, i mean if your throwing cel's and your alternator is bad then repair them, then maybe it'll rev past 4K, if it doesn't then start a thread like this one.
