Throwing a 10 (IAT) on my 2000 Si - what can that cause?
long story short, i finally have my Si running agian
its BONE STOCK if that helps
right now i'm throwin an 10 (IAT - intake air temperature sensor)
and when i rev, its SLOW at first, then past 1200 rpms it does like a normal b16 would do...
when i let if it drops down HELLA llow (like 300rpms or so)
could the IAT cause that?? or why would it do that?

Re: Throwing a 10 (Jaesung)
I had the same problem 3 months ago.
The car misfires and the Check Engine Light comes up.
Nothing to do with IAT, the Primary O2 Sensor connector had rust and was semi-connected.
Check yours, maybe you have the same problem.

Yeah, make sure you're not throwing code 1 (Prim O2) which is often mistaken for 10 (IAT). I had similar symptoms, threw a code which I thought was 10 but reset it before I could verify. Turned out to be water in the Primary O2 connection.

Re: (TwistedSI)
before u test your wires and all of that other crap, check for other codes as stated above but ALSO just take the IAT off and make sure the tip isnt either melted or charred.
