Default replacing o2 sensor on '98 Civic DX

I don't have the code handy but have been told the Check Engine light is indicating an o2 sensor that needs to be replaced on my 98 Civic. I've found the part/s for around $80 when the Honda mechanic wants over $350 to do the repair, so I'm going to buy the part/s and have my brother replace it/them for me. Looks like there are two, so unless I can find the code or have the mechanic tell me, I'll just replace them both. But before we start, any tips or tricks to it that anyone can share?
