I thought that Rays lugs were specifically designed for Rays rims and are not the smartest thing to use on non Volk / Rays rims.

Tell me about it, I just bought some standard black ones and they won't work 
with my 5Zigen GN+. So if anybody wants to buy some new black short ray lugs send me a pm. Just got them from Ed at evasive.

Yeah how do they not work... they are tapered just like the seats of every aftermarket wheel I have ever seen. And oem's are acorn not tapered thats why you shouldnt use rays or any aftermarket lugs for that matter on oem wheels.
