Default Code 41, o2 heater... cant shake it

Just did the the obd1 conversion on my 91 hatch. Using a p28 with a stock p28 basemap and the rywire conversion harness.

I initially started the conversion with a used 4 wire o2 sensor but when I could not get rid of code 41 I went out and bought a new denso fitted 4 wire o2 sensor for a d16z6.

From the rywire harness to o2 sensor I have:

rywire -> o2
brown = black
purple = blue
yellow = black
grey = white

I tried swapping the black wires, and the colored wires. In between each wire swap I disconnected the neg terminal on the battery and hit the brakes a few times.

Anyone have some suggestions? This is the only code I am throwing.

Im gonna go search for my multimeter/continuity meter and start tracing the o2 wires from the ecu to the harness extension. I emailed rywire for some guidance, hopefully its something stupid easy to fix.

rywire -> o2
brown = black
purple = white
yellow = black
grey = blue

OR

rywire -> o2
brown = black
purple = green
yellow = black
grey = white

Think I already tried that combination, but I will give it another shot.

Well, vegas could just disable the code on his ecu or do the resistor trick, but it'd be nice to fix it fix it. Have you tried running fresh wires straight from the ecu to the o2 sensor?
