96 ~ 2000 TypeR LSD's will fit a 94 b series?

gsr open diff is bigger then the rest (ls,gs....).
which happens to be the same size as the itr lsd.
otherwise you'll need to get a bigger final gear to make the lsd work.

There is no demensional difference. The difference is the number of ring-gear bolts on an LS/b16 and the GSR/ITR.
An ITR diff/ring gear will drop into an S4C (99 Si) tranny, however. As far as the GSR tranny goes, a R diff will drop in...You can use the ring gear from the GSR diff if you find an LSD without a Ring-gear...
And many people sell an LSD without a ring-gear.
