My dyno adventure didnt go so well tonight.... (no, not that bad)
I was headin over to burnside (the industrial area of the city)... to put the civic up and do some tuning tonight... wasnt goin for anything crazy, cause im not QUITE ready yet... i just wanted it street drivable with these big injectors till i get my wideband and do a couple other things...
so i made it over to burnside and was like 2 turns away from the dyno, and the car bogged...and died..
Wouldnt start at all ( it flooded itself..)
So, off to the store in greg (cazzbo's) car to get a couple sets of plugs...
come back... tried it... same thing...
Started the car up with the injectors unplugged... it started for 5-6 seconds, thats how much fuel was there... then it turned off.... plugged them back in and IT wouldnt stay runnin with the injectors plugged in...
We changed the map a bunch of times, trying to lean it out alittle for startup... no luck...
tried a different ECU with just different sized injectors on the map.... NO luck, same problem...
last resort... changed back to OEM injectors, to try and see if that was the problem... same thing, and on top of that... killed the battery...
After tryin all that I changed back to a stock map sensor instead of the 3 bar one i had on... and sure enough, started right up...
stupid GM 3 bar....
well, im not trapped in burnside.. thank god... cars home... back to the drawing board for now....
sorry, had to rant

If it had that much fuel I would go ahead and do an oil change as well
Never had a problem with the GM 3 bar or MSD 3 bar MAP sensors. Only problem I have had is the pigtail loosing a solid connection

gm 3 bars absoulutly suck for use as a map sensor for the ecu they where made for a boost guage on a car and that is it i would recomend you look into the motorolla map sensors or some of the other brands like aem or zeitronix

motorolla 2.5bar works so much better than the gm 3bar
Weren't you datalogging? Sounds like the map sensor was reading full boost and pouring in fuel.
