Default powerslot rotor upgrade

Has anyone got any experience with the powerslot big disc conversion for the 5th gen. It gives you bigger ventilated discs and new caliper brackets so essentially you are using your standard calipers but on larger diameter discs. Anyone?

^doesn't really do that much for you. unless you just like the look of bigger brakes (but not really)

you want better stopping power? buy some blank rotors (any brand, i prefer brembo) and some good pads (cobalt, hawk) and you will stop faster

unless you want to throw down for a real BBK, i.e wilwoods, baer, stoptech.

anything in between is a waste of money

You can always do the Legend Caliper swap.

was thinking about the legend disc swap but if i was to do that i would keep my own calipers, only thing is its getting hard to find those in salvage. thats why i thought the powerslot would be good because it increases your brake torque just like the legend upgrade, its not like our calipers are lacking anyway.

Just get some better pads, that will give you the TQ you want.

Axxis Ultimates is a great street pad.

there is some benefit for getting bigger rotors, even though it uses the same calipers, it moves the calipers out further from the center, increasing leverage distance, ie braking torque.

might not be worth the money though

but there is an improvement
