if you want a set, you are going to have to convince 15 other ppl who want them too

willing to put a downpayment

willing to wait 5-6 months for fab.

if you answered yes to all the above.

you can get cf fenders, if not, keep dreaming

erebuni makes the z4 and slr and shark style ones... I found those but I want oem style. I may even paint them down the road but I cant afford stock ones and paint also right now. And I just want to try it out to see how it may look on a darker car. Nobody has done it to a lude that i have seen which is more the reason to do it... set it off from everyone else.

so you can't afford stock fenders so you are willing to shell out more for custom cf ones???

ok..............

no it costs less for the carbon fiber ones... i can get the z3's for 450 shipped and install myself but the stock oem ones are gonna cost at least 35 shipped and then I have to pay for paint and labor to have them painted.. also I dont have a clue how to make them myself. Can you do that?

like pizzaman said...just make them for yourself.....we did that to my 4th gen and my friends DSM. took awhile to get it down so they looked ok, but it's worth it when you see the finished product. you can find the stuff to make them on ebay if you look.

making them isn't that hard, it wont look show perfect but they'll be strong and more importantly for everyone reading this, they're very light. If you dont want to lay up on your own fenders go get sum old one's from a salvage yard. you will have to do a wet lay up cos i'm guessing to dont have an autoclave and you probably cant afford prepreg, its just the same as fibreglass but it looks better and its much stronger

front fenders, mine were dented and i had always wanted to learn how to make that kind of stuff for myself. so we went through alot of trial and error to get it fairly right, and as they said...it won't be show perfect but it will be functional. and no it wasn't me with the carbon WWRS lip.

i bet if you were good with fiberglass you could cut out the z3 vents out of the ebay ones and fill the hole, then paint them....

Haha, kind of like those satellite-looking things that dogs wear around their necks after they get neutered to keep them from scratching their nutz.
