I'm doing some restorative work on my car which involves removing the hatch. I removed the hatch but the wiring harness is still on. From reading the manual, it seems that there is no intermediate connector at the hatch/roof interface. It seems that I need to unplug the defroster, wiper, lock switch, etc and then pull the harness out of the hatch. Is that exactly what I need to do? Do you have any tips on accomplishing this?

 

yeah you have to undo all the harness and them pull them through the hatch or u can unplug them from the car and pull them through the body
