Will a OBD1 GSR engine wire harness fit a B16A2 in my cx?
I bought a JDM b16 for my 93 cx that i picked up without an engine, so i bought a GSR engine wire harness, strapped it on and there are 2 extra connectors on the harness that dont seem to go to anything.. one is on the left of the intake manifold and one is on the right, was this even the rite harness to use? any idea what sensors the plugs go to? will it work? help me out! thanks
Correct me if im wrong guys...but i believe the swap cannot be stamped b16a2 and still be a jdm motor, and vice versa...If its a jdm motor, it should be stamped b16a ... if its b16a2 stamped, then its an originally obd2 usdm b16, which could explain the extra 2 plugs...if im wrong tho, please correct me...
Obd 1 has a one plug distributor. Obd 2 has a two plug distributor.
You will need a obd2 harness for plug n play, or a obd 1 distributor.

it is stamped b16a, my fault on the *A2 part, thanks for your suggestions i think i'm gunna finish the swap and try starting the engine and see how it runs, if not so swell then i'll post pics of the extra plugs. thanks again guys

yeah GSR has extra for IAB (secondary butterflies on the IM) the head looks just like a evap purge wire - and i think the last one is your evap purge (lol) if you're running a JDM ECU / MOTOR you don't need evap purge to work or to be hooked up, since that's for USA emissions - if you need to BAR your car you'll need to hook one up though. I say you do waht your harness needs and get a B18C1 asap lol.
