14inch wheel and 50series tire setup ideal for track?
Reason I ask is the crx doesnt have much space to acomidate a bigger wheel without being all jacked up. so I was wondering this. Would it take the benifits of the rolling diameter away? I.E. Volk 14" Te-37 and some 1950/50/14 azenis... lmk thanks.

Correct, 195/60-14 is the only current 14" Azenis size. 185/60-14 will be available some time in September.

I don't know what you're talking about . . . I ran 195/60-14 RT-215 Azenis for a long time, then 205/50-15 RT-215s, and I am currently running 225/45-15 Hankook RS2-Z212s. My car is lower than stock height.

better improvement over the 205s?</TD></TR></TABLE>
The old 205/50-15 Azenis RT-215 was so wide that it was damn near a 225 already (I measured just a hair under 220mm on a 7" wheel). Grip is comparable to the RT-215 but the sidewalls are noticeably softer. I don't know how an RT-615 compares because I haven't been able to get a hold on any yet.

Yes, this is what I have on my car and I put it on the track. I have yet to rub anywhere on the track at VIR, RA, CMP, or Roebling.
I actually rubbed more in DrDisco69 HF totally stock, stock suspension and stock 13" steelies rubbed all over VIR and I have never rubbed on my 205/50/15's with lower than stock by about inch or two.

How low is it? What is the wheel offset? What are the spring rates and sway bars?

I run 195/60-14 215 Azenis on my Civic. I'm not sure what "too much tire for the track" means, but it's a slightly smaller overall diameter compared to the stock 185/65-14's.
If you're asking if a 195/60-14 has too much sidewall for the track, well the answer is no, not really. Sidewall stiffness has as much to do with the size as it does the brand. Azenis tend to have fairly stiff sidewalls as compared to other performance tires.
Unless you're competitively racing, I'd worry less about what the best setup for the track is, and more about just going to the track to learn.
