1990 DX Hatch, D16a6(SI) swap, RUSTless... North Chicago area.
1990 Civic DX Hatchback
Car has DA dual core aluminum radiator now and I'm working on a battery for it. I'll be putting a chipped ecu into the car and tinkering.
I bought it non-running, owner had swapped out the blown b16 (its wired for b16 and vtec already) and put an A6 swap in. They blew the ecu up so its sat until I recieved it.
Motor comes as you see it, with DC header included.
Body looks to be in great condition, i found one hint of bondo near a rear taillight, but magnet sticks and is not something you'd find without looking for it. The mirrors and corner lights are inside the car. As is an SI cluster for it.
Front end has unknown brand coilovers and there is a set for the rear in the trunk.
I was told the trans is very clean and the motor (leaky some) is in good running condition. Just in case though, I'll include a very healthy d16a6 longblock, 190compression across it... one flaw... one back middle headstud is stripped and bolt is halfway in/out (i drove it like this without issue and did the comp test before pulling it).
Interior is in pretty good shape. Seat has normal wear and carpet is just dirty from age. Overall... great car for daily/project/anything.

I haven't even registered it in my name yet. I have title on hand, we'll just have to goto get it done together.
Reason for it being in my hands so briefly (you may have noticed it for sale a few weeks ago
).....I happened across another project potential and went for it.... i'm going RWD
$1200 fairly firm since it was just recently bought for a bit less and I'm putting back into it stuff for you
Located just north of Chicago, easily accessible by 90/94.
btw: its currently not running... but i'll tinker on it over the next few days and it might be then.
