Default Anyone tried the Prestone flush kit for the CRX

I am trying to get this piece of **** to work and it seems pretty weak. There is water spraying every where (all over the dizzy), do your really leave it like that for 5 minutes? also the block drain bolt has tig welded itself to the block, so thats no use. I am going to try that BAR's stop leaks to see if I can get my D15 to last a few more weeks (not compatible with coolant it says so I have to flush it), it eats about an inch of coolat every 30-60 miles. help me por favor

well, for the record, BARs stop leak definately made a difference, I am not sure if it is bulletproof but I have kept it under 3k since then, the coolant is 1/2" above the fill line and I have driven about 150-200 miles. I had to refill it a little bit after the air pockets dissapated the day after, other than that it seems solid

The stop leak is horrible for the engine, I have seen it close up water jackets and cause engines basically the implode

well good thing it is just a d15b2 with 230k, It says on the bottle that if it is combined with coolant it will clog things up. You have to flush it before and after it cures
