Default Amp Hookup, searched looking for pics,

I want some pics on how you hook up the speaker wire, and like do you need to crimp connectors, or just the wire?

I know this is going into my trunk, and i have read its better to put in on the lower back of my back seat to the heat goes up, is this true?

but really pictures would work wonders ...

You don't need crimp connectors, but it makes the install look nice, and not like you half-assed it.

And the back of the rear seat is a good location, but doesn't really effect cooling too much... Heat will still rise whether the amp is mounted horizontally or vertically...

yes it is worth it - it will also make sure you create a solid connection and prevent stray power wires from scorching whatever it touches.

I think he's talking about the insulating sleeve that comes in the package of terminals...

Yes, you slide the "rubber thing" over the wire first. Then you crimp (or solder as FCM would have you do ), then slide the sleeve over the connection.
