Am I asking TOO MUCH for my ITR?
your asking 20k rite? i mean really when i think of it.. i bought my gsr for 4gs.. think about the xtra 15gs i use and what i can do with it? hmm... 15gs fixing it or buy your ride? but i know what you mean.. i dont mean to be rude to you or anything but heck. a jdm itr front end, rims, 5 lug, and side skirts wouldn't run me that much. i'll see what i can do tho in selling my ride.. thanks bro

If it were mid summer and i was able to sell the si, i'd consider your R! Its sooooooooo awesome and i think the price is well worth it.
unfortunately thats not very likely, but what does it take to get a canada car here??

i went to the Honda Dealer in town today, and they told me that they would not take my car in as a trade in, the guy was really cool, he's like i can take it, and it will be sold in a day, if not immediatley, but he's like you have a good car. He's like my system is not giving me a value on it, it says that is a collector's item, so your best bet would be to keep it, so whatever you are asking, i dont think its too much

20K for a 97ITR with a Mugen body and MF10s and only 20,000 miles?
I'm surprised that more people aren't asking. "where do I sign?" Your asking price of $20K is very reasonable. Do not settle for less.

Your price of $20k I think is a steal. I had a 98 GSR (not Type-R), with a JDM front end (not HID) and Racing Hart T6's (not Mugen), and I sold it to my best friend for a spanking darn good price of $16800. The car had 24k miles on it too. It was a clean car, but no Type R like yours.
Problem lies in finding someone that can afford the part not available from the bank. Call a bank and find a place that will loan more then $17,000 for one. Best I can find is $16850.
Fair price just gotta wait for that right person to wander up.

**** no thats not too much. And to tell you the truth a GSR will never be a itr no matter how much you put into it.
Like everyone else, if I didn't have one already I would be jumping on your deal. Good luck with the sale.

$20k is reasonable considering the the condition and low mileage. I wouldn't say it's a steal though. Try asking this in the other forums. No offense to anyone here but it's kinda biased if you are getting mostly responses from ITR owners.
Hey Unlimited, I think your price is very reasonable to the point that I even emailed you a week or two back asking for more info (thanks again for that by the way!). For Canada, and the limited number available on the market, I'm surprised it hasn't been bought already.
I am seriously trying to find a way to make a reasonable offer for your car or for TorontoR's, but buying a house comes first and the car second. Hopefully it will still be up for sale in a few months

sold mine for 15K, but took some stuff w/ me. Rims, cage, cams, nos kit, etc. Left turbo kit, leather, sparco seats, cf stuff, full susp, full brake upgrade, etc etc etc. It was a 97 w/ 39k, motor was rebuilt at 37.5k. I was happy and so was the new owner.

I think it is too much. I see this every time someone tries to sell a modified car - they assume they will get some value for their modifications and often get nothing. Look what happened to the Toda 2000 Type-R with $20k in mods (including $3.5k worth of shocks) - it went for $21k on EBay.
A $X car with $Y in modifications seems to sell for $X as far as I can see. I would go for $17-18k.

20k is very reasonable, its only 2k more than most would pay for a 97 with 20k miles in that condition, not including the $7K youve put in the appearance dpmt.
