Default Have a problem with my R 00-360

Sup brothers ! I have a little problem that I believe you guys can help me out with. When my car is at a standing stop everytime I hit a red light , the car seems to shake. I mean you can really feel it. Any suggestions on what the problem is. Also I been bringing the car to a shop whos been putting chevron 10-30 into the car. I know thats cheap shi## but would that be the problem. Also what kind of oil should I use.

Redline you mean? The car shakes? So at 8000+rpm it shakes? Be a little more specific.

Do you mean it shakes for just a second or like throughout the time you're at a stop? Do you look at your rpm and seee if it dips down low and then back up to normal?

No the RPM doesnt go down and back up. It just stays still but the car seem to shake lil' bit. Its enough to notice. I dont know what it is.

I use chevoron 10-30 with honda filter...it's fine but I'll be using Mobil 1 10w30 with HAMP filter.

No need to use the HAMP filter. I recommend using the usual Honda filter. Mobil 1 is better than the chevron. If you change your oil very often I suggest just using Castrol GTX.

Since you change it so often, use Castrol GTX. It's normal oil.

im sure that you bought the car new!
well if it does it all the time , then have the dealer check it out for you .
but make sure to also watch your rpm gauge to see if went your at a stop that the idle is not lower then what should be !

It's alright, use 5w30 or 10w30. That's what I would recommend. Your idel depends on a lot of things...

Better safe than sorry even though it is CARB legal. You never know what the dealer is gonna say. One of my friends has a chipped S4. Most Audi dealerships will void your warranty for that, but the place he goes to "recommended" he get the chips. He goes there to get service, no problem. Go figure.
