does anyone know if a 99 civic ex has a cabin filter. no air freshner will my do my car justice; especially in this humid rainy season. my dads 2001 civic had a cabin filter that filters the air from outside. i was wondering if i have one. its not in the same spot and i do not have a owners manuel. thanks!

ill also be interested in any other ideas. can you self shampoo your rugs or clean cloth seats???

 

you can clean the carpets and the seats. my dad has really good seat cleaner, i'll find out what it is. and i think there is one under the dash behind the glove box

 

I remember someone on here tearing down an EK Hatch 99ish and it was in the back of the car..like in the hatch area.

Are you talking about the air flap in the rear quarter panel that lets air pressure out when you close the doors? That isnt an air filter.
