I have a b16 motor that im putting into my 92 eg hatch.

Im gettin ready to order hasport mounds, and im curious, To swap the motor in will I need to buy a new lower transmision bracket? And will I need to buy the new rear bracket?

There is a stock motor in the car, d15. What can i re-use?

you need a 94+ teg rear tranny bracket. the side tranny (tq mount) from the B16 tranny will bolt up to your car fine. only thing to change is the rear tranny bracket, not mount, just the bracket.

 

So i need a rear tranny bracket? Not lower tranny bracket?

 

the one on the back of the motor between the tranny and engine. not the one on the passenger framerail.
