Shift Knob in 7th Gen?
I'm totally willing to accept the fact that I'm an eedjit, and probably could have found this SOMEwhere on the internet if I spent hours looking.
That said, how much of a pain in the *** is it going to be to change my shift ****? Does that gray/silver tab stay in place once I wrench the original **** off? What am I likely to/going to break?
Thanks in advance.

the grey thing will stay there it is held on by some smething cheap if you ever put a short shift adapter in i suggest cutting whatever it is taht holds it off, then use some zip ties to hold the shiftboot flush to the bottom of the ****
