Depends what you're using them for, and what tires you are using. I've seen 225/50R13 Hoosiers on that size rim for autocross, and have heard of 225/45R13 Hoosiers for the same reason. Makes sense for a stock class car with a lot of body roll. Not sure what size drag slicks would fit.

If this is just for a street car: GET THE TIRE THAT IS THE CORRECT SIZE FOR YOUR CAR. Wider is not better.

What's your story; what car do you have, what is the use for this car....etc?

Cheers.

I stand corrected, apparently reading and comprehension does, infact, 'own' me.

Most autocross and road racing tires make pretty lousy drag tires due to their stiff sidewalls. Why not get some wider wheels and run slicks?

Im in the same boat. I have VX wheels and am running Yoko. road racing tires for drag. The sidewall blows but theyre soft compound and better than street tires. The tires are 185 and seem to have alot of room left. 205s seem possible for drag only. 195 to be conservative. Ive been lookiing for DR's or slicks to fit these wheels for a long time with no luck. Good luck, maybe someone will chime in with an answer.
