Default need help asap!!!!!

ok so ne ways my uncle has a 03 accord and i think its the dx? or whatever the cheapest model is and like my homie who is a audio/alarm/tint specialist. and he was installing a crime stopper 2 way pager alarm and he wired everything up and what not and when he tried to start the car with the remote it would crank but not turn over. so he was llike wtf so he tried it with the key and it would do the same thing. so he called his friend and asked him whats going on and his friend asked him if he was using the master key at first and my friend said no he used the valet key. so his friend said that the key or computer might have reprogrammed. so hearing this he calls his friend whos a lock smith to reprogram the keys but after reprogramming the keys he still cant start the car. so what we were wondering is, does this car have some type of anti-theft type thing to cut off the fuel pump and what not? because when his brother came by with the diognostic scanner he said it wasnt getting ne power to the fuel pump. or something like that. so if anyone can help us out that would be great.

He needs to double check his wiring. I have a feeling he overlooked something very small, or there's simply a bad connection.

sounds like the alarm's ignition kill feature is causing the problem

Most likely an immobilizer problem. Does the green key light on the dash flash when you try to start the car?

Well, if the immobilizer indicator on dash is flashing while cranking, it won't start. I suggest looking to make sure that transponder ring and receiver at ignition switch are plugged in. I don't know what he may have had to unplug in order to install the remote start but he may have accidentally left something disconnected. The only other way to find out what's going on is with the Honda scan tool and see how immobilizer is reacting to cranking. Are you sure the key is programmed to the vehicle? You said they reprogrammed the key, did the locksmith use the ILCO key reprogrammer. If so, you can't program a T5 key blank with that programmer. You would need the HDS in order to correctly program the key. If the valet key was one of the original keys to the vehicle, it should be fine to start car with. If still won't start, again, I'd be diagnosing an immobilizer problem.

Sorry for being so long winded...

HondaTim pretty much summed it up.

I'm going to have to agree that something is awry with the transponder ring...

How did "your homie" interface with the factory immobilizer for the remote start? Did he use an immobilizer bypass module (and if so, which one), or did he make his own?

IF you are 100% sure that all wiring is correct.. then Try Learning the Tach sensor to the alarm first.. then try the remote start..

I see my installers make this mistake alot. so try that.

Thanks for reading, but he said that it won't start with the key, either, so learning tach won't help.

hmmm. what iMmobilizer bypass did you guys use on that car? if you guys have any wires cut that went to the immobilizer.. reconnect it back to normal and try again. Installin an alarm system should not cause it from starting or turn over unless u guys cut some wires somewhere..

what i suggest is.. remove the alarm system and have all factory wires reconnected. without havng the alarm attach.. and try starting again. if it still dotn turn over.. something is wrong.

I'm betting that he hooked up everything correctly-but probably failed to make sure that he hooked up the immobilize correctly, Probably needs to reverse the black and the black/yellow wire on the 555hw. The car won't start if he is sending the code that suppose to go to the bcm right back to the key. Real simple mistake, I've done it once, .

its got to be the immobiliser cutting power and spark to start the car. make sure all ur wiring going into and out the immboliser is correct.
