Question about back pressure...
i currently have '99 Civic hatch with a JDM B16A motor, with a shitty Ractive short ram intake and a A'PEXi GT Civic Type R header, Magnaflow High-Flow cat, and a A'PEXi N1 catback system.
I have a Omni-Power Test pipe and i was curious if i installed this, if i would loss too much back pressure, i don't know too much about it, but i figured i should ask incase it would be a possibilty to hurt the motor since i would make it have to run a little hard to make up for the difference in back pressure...
i could be wrong in my assumption, but i figured it is better to ask and figure out the knowledge that it would to put the health of the motor on the line...

Backpressure is bad. What u do need is exhaust gas velocity. Too big of an exhaust will lower ur exhaust velocity a u will lose torque. Changing from a cat to a test pipe will only help ur exhaust flow anytime and u will make more power as long as u get it tuned.
