New to Honda Question.
Block guards.
The sleeve looking things that seat down into the water jackets around the outside of the cylinders:
What is the benefits of using them in an all motor or boosted motor?
Providing more strength to keep from losing a cylinder is the onlyy thing i can think of.
And, Yes, I know its a effen noob question. So get off my nuts and just awnser me.

It's just for high compression buildups. If you're running a real high compression ratio, or a ton of boost, then I'd highly recommend block guards, or atleast standoff bolts. Just be careful what you get, because restrict too much flow for the coolant in the jacket, and you're looking at a serious problem.

Thats what I thought. Since most honda motors that ive seen have the cylinders suspended in the water jackets, I figured that you would need something like that to keep from putting a hole in the cylinder that isnt supposed to be there.
