Is there a difference between an auto EX trans and an auto DX trans? The reason I'm asking is because I'm about to swap my d15b7 out for a d16z6.

If you are asking it will fit, yes it should. d series are interchangable.

 

i believe they are interchangeable but I think they are different size gears inside..... don't qoute me on that..... call honda and ask them. I was going to pick up a used dx tranny but it was different gear ratios

 

yea, the only difference should be the gear ratios but other than that, it should work.
