Default question: over heating cat and battery warning lights come on (edited)

My car is a JDM (I am in Japan) 92 EG6 and while driving (not stopped) the over heating cat and battery warning lights both come on at the same time for maybe a second or 2 sometimes. My car runs fine and I don't have any problems but if there is something wrong I want to get it fixed. Anyone had this problem before? Thanks in advance for your help.

Sorry for the wrong wording. Yes, it is the overheating cat light. Edited.

check all your connections to start, the battery light should not be related to the overheated cat light. are you driving normally or hard when the lights come on?

Normal driving conditions. Battery connections seem OK.

No the car doesn't shut off when the 2 lights come on. Everything seems normal but its not a good feeling.

They come on and go off after a second or 2 while still driving. No cool down or anything.
