Default problem with brakes

i noticed a funny sound and vibration coming to a stop today. as i come to a stop, i ease a little bit off the brakes so i don't jerk to a stop. as i ease off the brakes, right before i stop i hear a couple of clanking noises. hard to describe but i guess it sounds like the pads stick momentarily. i can feel it lightly throught the steering wheel and the brake pedal. i just had brand new brakes pads put in and had my rotor resurfaced. any idea what it is?

Default Re: problem with brakes (blkbeast)

Your calipers may not be sliding properly.

A) Go back to where they did the brakes and ask/demand that they check that the shims are in, that they greased the shims, and that the caliper slides freely on the pins.

B) Go somewhere else that knows what they are doing and have them inspect the brakes, checking the points mentioned in "A."
