first off i want to say that i know that this topic has been covered plenty of times before and some people are going to ask to me to do a search and i've done that but the just did not provide me the help that i need.
i own a 93 honda civic hatch with a bad (manual) window regulator on the driver side i have put in a new one and still i am feeling a great amout of resistance when winding up and down. plus the window does not sit properly when rolled all the way up. i have greased both the tracks and the gears and still have problems. the window regulator that i got came out of a 93 coupe but i think it should have no problem fitting in. There is also a bolt with a slotted hole that could be adjusted ive played with it, and it did help the gap but it still there.
if you have any suggestions that could help please let me know

EXACT same thing happened to my '92 hatch on the driverside door. The window would be hard as hell to roll up and down, and when it was all the way rolled up, it would not seal completely toward the front of the door. Two things ended up being bad on my window regulator mechanism:
1.) 1 of the 2 rollers inside that track was cracked, so there was only half of a roller in there...basically the circular roller was half-moon shaped.
2.) One of the main support arms was bent inward a little. I tried heating it and bending it back, but it would just bend back again later. Such is the case when you heat/bend metal...it'll never be as strong.
To fix it I went to a junkyard and took the regulator out of a door on another hatch, installed it, greased it, and it works perfect! The window rolls up and down sooooo easily, and it seals perfect.
Go grab a new regulator for like $10

i got a window regulator from the junkyard already but maybe the one i pulled also has problems im going again to u-pull-it (a major junkyard in south Fl) to get another one
If that 2nd regulator you get still doesn't work (make sure you get one from a door that hasn't been in an accident, or else it'll be bent), make sure you're putting the window in 100% perfect. Get out in the sun so you can see inside the door good and really guide that window in there really carefully. Make sure it fully seats in all the rubber trims and seals; make sure it's in the tracks all the way and none of the rubber on the tracks has folded in on the window or bunched up. That was a problem with my other window...just some more advice...good luck
